From a distance these guys looked like BYU players..I went running after them for a picture to only find out they were a high school team.
Ahh the food, we pretty much had a culinary tour of NO with jambalaya, muffuletta (picture above), fried crawfish and gumbo.
Here we are with Joseph's parents at the tail gate party for the BYU vs. Tulan game. The Mills were so nice to let us stay with them in Baton Rouge and treated us to a delicious dinner in the French Quarter. Thanks again!
We were able to stand right next to the field and watch the action up close. One of my young women said that she saw us on ESPN cheering for the Cougars! At the end of the 49-3 game we were able to high five all of the team..I think Chad was truly in heaven!
We really had a great time, and want to THANK Joseph for showing us around and Bro. and Sister Mills for allowing us to stay in their home. It was fun to explore the town that my parent's honeymooned at 30 years ago. We loved NOLA !

I am so jealous of you! I miss New Orleans! My mom grew up there and that's where my brother was born. We use to go back every couple of years to visit. I love the Cafe Du Monde! I tell Matt about it all of the time. And lovey all of the yummy food there! Looks like you guys had a blast!
