I love my Mechanic!

The Damage..

The Mechanics

Chad took it apart in one night..

The Finish Product

So before Christmas I was in a accident where the truck that had a hitch in front of me stopped (because someone ran the red light) and I wasn't able to stop and hit him. Thankfully Violet and I were OK and the cop did not give me a ticket. So for 2+ month's now I have been driving our good-ole truck and Chad's celica. Very hard to do when you have a baby and only 2 doors to work with. I am so grateful that my hubby and father are so handy, they went and bought the parts one day and in another day they had the car put back together. My dad charged it up with A/C on Saturday and now the car is running like new. We don't know yet if Chad will paint the parts or if we will go ahead and get the whole car painted. The FL sun is pretty harsh on the paint. I am so happy to be back in my car!!

Talk about quick auto repair! How nice to have men in your life that can fix cars. I'll never own a two door car just for that reason. It can be such a pain. Even long before Michael I never had the desire for a two door car.

I cant believe Violet is 9 months already! i just saw your last post. she is beautiful. I think she must have been born right when we moved here because it has been 9 months already for us.

Let me know if you need it painted. That is what my uncle does for a living. Maybe he can hook you up, not sure though. That is great they fixed it! I have a hitch on my car & I have been wanting Ben to take it off b/c I hit my knee on it all the time & it hurts. Well, a few weeks ago in the wendy's drive thru a guy ran right into the back of me while I was ordering! he hit my hitch and damaged his vehicle & mine was perfectly fine! He was SO frustrated that I had a hitch, but I was grateful. :) That is truly a bummer for you though that you ran into that persons hitch. They totally stink for the person who hits it...that's for sure! I am glad they were able to fix it though. What a great hubby!
