Chad went out to San Diego for his best friends wedding. While there he was able to see his parents, his second parents the Shoemakes and his other best friend Joseph Mills. I stayed behind considering I am in my 3rd Trimester and thought it would be too much of a trip for to little time. I really wanted to be there though. Chad helped Trace out with decorating the reception area and worked on his car. The day of the wedding was beautiful, Ely looked stunning and they both were very happy. I really enjoyed seeing all of the pictures. The next day Chad, Joseph, Jan and Karl went to the San Diego Temple for a session and ate at one of the highly recomemded Mexican restaurants called Miguel's cocina. They also went to Old Town and saw the Mormon Battalion display. On Chad & Joseph's last day in San Diego they went to Tijiuana, Mexico and ate some really good Mexican food. Chad was sad to leave his best friends and hopes he can see them really soon. I was really greatful that my best friend Franchesca and her little dog negrita stayed with me at the house while Chad was gone. I was able to see a play that her high school students put on called "the game" it was really good. We had a good time together and were able to catch up on things.
We may not be the famous Swiss chocolate makers but our home is filled with love, honey and nutty times too.

Tobler Family Reunion-Las Vegas
After Clark & Rachel's wedding we all headed back to Las Vegas. To start the reunion we opened a package from Jakob and he sent us a bunch of Canadian goodies with photos, it was so fun to put together the Kinder toys and the chocolates were yummy! Every morning the faithful runner's would go for their morning run while I would stay nice and cozy in bed. The brother's and wife's took turns in the kitchen for breakfast and dinner, we had lots of healthy stuff like all you can eat bacon and sausages. Mom Tobler makes great smoothies and we enjoyed those on a daily basis. We had lots of great conversation and discussed many "issues" which I think was a favorite thing to do among the family. We went to an outlet mall and an outdoor mall were we found some treasures. Visiting model homes for decorating ideas was another highlight. Charlie our nephew was so fun he was so cute just the way he would run and interact with everyone one he is turning into such a big boy! Inn and Out was a highlight of the vacation as well, they make the best burgers and fries and cheap too! It was my first time eating there and I loved it. We did a little gambling at a local casino where I doubled my money from $1.oo to $2.00, and I should have hanged on to it but Chad lost it all. We had a grab table were we grabbed some goodies like cutting boards and new socks. Mom T. and Kimberly gave me a baby shower and I was given some really cute things for the baby since they won't get to see her until she is born. It was sad taking Jeff and Amy to the airport, and then the next day after playing in the park with Charlie, we had to say goodbye to Kyle, Kimberly and Charile. Chad & I went down to the strip and saw the Cirque du Soleil "O", at the Bellagio it was amazing, Chad called it "over the top." The next day, Chad worked on Mom Tobler's car and we went shopping for Clark's wedding gift. It was really sad to have to leave, we all had such a good time together. Now, we just have to look forward to the next reunion. We always enjoy the "party line" on Sundays where we catch up with what everyone is doing during the week. Such great memories!!

Rachel & Clark's Wedding
Clark & Rachel were married in Tempe, AZ on a beautiful sunny day! She picked the prettiest colors orange and pink and she just looked beautiful. They had a Taco Bar which was so good, thanks to Mom Tobler and a cupcake cake that was so good and unique. Even though there was some stress leading up to the ceremony everything turned out perfect. Chad & I were very happy to be able to be there and enjoy in the Tobler Reunion that would follow. Our nephew Charlie looked so cute in his suit and tie. I'm so happy that Rachel is part of the family she fits in perfectly.
