Visit with Abuela Elsa

Well, Abuela Elsa was super happy to see me and of course seeing me weigh a bit more than usual. She could not believe how much bigger my baby bump looked. I am now wearing maternity tops and bottoms and I am finding that the maternity bottoms are super comfortable! I was also able to pick up my wood baby crib from her house and I hope that I can use it for our little one. The baby is kicking like crazy I have a feeling she is going to be a very active child!

Super Bowl 2008

For the super bowl Chad & I went to my parent's neighbors Gloria & Bob's house. It was fun to see the game projected onto the wall I really felt like I was right in the action! Good Job to NY what a heart and what a way to fight and win! Bob made Mom & Dad a birthday cake, which was really yummy! We had a good time :)

President Gordon B. Hinkley

“Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he’s been robbed. The fact is that most puts don’t drop; most beef is tough; most children grow up to be just people; most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration; most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is like an old time rail journey… side tracks, smoke, dust, cinders and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride.”
•Gordon B. Hinckley

He is our prophet, and president, and will be greatly missed. He has done so much for the spreading of the gospel and spreading his message of love for all.
