Turkey Creek

We took grandma Elsa for a little hike around Turkey Creek. The only animals we spotted a turtle and squirrel. We got our exercise for the day!

Noche Buena

Noche Buena is full of good news this year as Chad & I announced that we are expecting to the grandmothers, aunts, and uncles. Everyone is really happy and very surprised! We are super excited! Tio Armando had a party at the Ponderosa Ranch and it was a lot of fun.

First Christmas Dinner

Today we had my parents, Miguel & Rachel, Abuela Rita and Abuela Elsa have dinner at my house. It was a lot of fun and we had a good time together. Everyone enjoyed our Christmas decorations.

Work Christmas party at Percy's

We had a lot of good food and good fun at our Work Christmas party hosted by Percy. We did a secret Santa and sang some karaoke. Fun night as always.

Cookie Swap at Work!

Well, our cookie swap was a success, full of yummy cookies from biscotti, chocolate-chocolate chip, coconut macaroons, ginger snaps, chow mein butterscotch/chocolate, snowball cookies, white chocolate macadamia nut, peanut butter with chocolate topping, toffee coffee cookies. It was so much fun! I think we need to do it every year.

Lunch Time!

At 14 weeks pregnant I sure have gained an appetite, especially since I did not have much of one for the first 3 months. Enjoying pizza, McDonald's, Subs, etc. it has been a regular thing lately for me at lunch time.

It's Holiday time in Grant!

Well, here we are in 80 degree weather shorts and flip-flops and this weekend I worked hard on baking gumdrop cookies. Tomorrow I will be participating in the cookie swap at work so it should be fun. I think they turned out good and are pretty unique, as well we finally have our Christmas decorations up so it's starting to feel more like Christmas around here. It was our ward Christmas party and the children's play always turns out so cute! I am in my 14th week of pregnancy and finally feeling good, I have some hip pain but I am dealing with it.
